Decluttering the Mind

This activity is a good way to offload what’s filling your head. By pouring your thoughts onto the page, you can create some much-needed calm and mental space.

Allow yourself about 15 minutes to complete this activity.

See if you can fill 3 sides of paper (approximately A5 size). Write down anything and everything that comes into your mind. 

You don’t need to worry about spelling, grammar or punctuation. Just keep writing without stopping. If you run out of steam just repeat the last phrase you wrote – or any phrase of your choice – over and over until your mind comes unstuck. 

Once you have completed your writing, put it away and do not look over it.

To finish, take a few deep breaths and stretch your body.
